Meet Athena.

Athena is an advanced Clinical Psychology doctoral student who walks alongside clients as they navigate the following: identity exploration, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, periods of transition, and related struggles with depression and anxiety.
She specializes in working with individuals whose identities are liminal, ambiguous, or fluid, such as people who identify as Biracial, Bicultural, or genderqueer. Relatedly, she is adept at supporting clients as they traverse transitional, in-between stages of life, including the period between adolescence and adulthood, marriage and divorce, and expecting the loss of a loved one.
Her approach to therapy is relational, strengths-based, and collaborative, rooted in the belief that people are inherently equipped to heal and grow, but sometimes need a safe space and compassionate guidance to do so.
Athena offers therapy for adults and young adults across Massachusetts through a culturally affirming, inclusive lens that honors each client’s story and sense of becoming.
Inclusivity Statement
We are proudly and unapologetically welcoming to BIPOC, LGBTQIA2S+ and neurodiverse communities. Our work is grounded in an intersectional, identity-affirming approach that honors the fullness of who you are and the complexity of the world you navigate.
