Meet Athena.

Athena is an advanced Clinical Psychology doctoral student who walks alongside clients as they navigate the following: identity exploration, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, periods of transition, and related struggles with depression and anxiety.
She specializes in working with individuals whose identities are liminal, ambiguous, or fluid, such as people who identify as Biracial, Bicultural, or genderqueer. Relatedly, she is adept at supporting clients as they traverse transitional, in-between stages of life, including the period between adolescence and adulthood, marriage and divorce, and expecting the loss of a loved one.
Her approach to therapy is relational, strengths-based, collaborative, and follows the belief that people are empowered and equipped to resolve their problems, but often need guidance to do so.
