Work-Life Fulfillment: Increasing Connection & Confidence
In theory, it makes sense why people try to keep personal and professional life separate. But is it actually possible?

What happens when you’re stressed or overwhelmed at work? Do you notice yourself feeling more irritable, mentally exhausted, or less present at home?

What about when you have a heated argument with a friend or family member right before you leave the house? Do you find it more difficult to concentrate or to perform at your best?

If you can relate, you’re in good company. We've all been there.
It’s impossible to keep personal from professional life completely separate – much less strike a perfect balance between the two. When you feel overwhelmed at work, you carry your stress and frustration into your personal relationships. To avoid taking your stress out on your loved ones, you may try to control, minimize, or suppress your negative feelings. While this may provide immediate relief, it often comes at the cost of neglecting your emotions in order to keep the peace.
But that doesn't have to be your story. In therapy, I'll help you develop stress management and emotional regulation skills that will allow you to effectively whether any storm, while remaining emotionally connected to yourself and others.
